Willie Beaty Willie Beaty wrote on April 17, 2013 at 5:42 am:
My 4th great-grandfather, James Beaty, was born in Nottingham Township, Chester Co PA in 1752. He migrated down to Salisbury, Rowan Co NC and served four campaigns in Revolutionary War. Between 1784 and 1798 James lived in Sullivan and Greene Counties TN. In 1798-1799 James migrated again to Cumberland Co Kentucky, and again in 1821 went to Rutherford Co TN, where he made application for a pension based on his RW service. QUIRK: James never mentioned the names of his parents, his wife or any of his children in his pension application. He mentions only his wife Mary in his will. Message to genealogy researchers: DON'T DO THAT! We have pieced together a fairly reliable "circumstantial evidence" trail through Isaac Beaty that leads to James as his father. Would love to receive any clues from anyone else.

My parents were Wirt and Christine Reagan (Neal), I was born InJjamestown in 1950, I live in Eaton, In, a small town 12 miles north of Muncie. I am related to The Reagan's, Beaty's, Neal's, Tipton's and a lot more that I don't know. I went to school part of the 1st grade in Jamestown. Then Muncie, and then Eaton. In the 50's and 60's we were in Jamestown every summer at my Grandmother's, Mandy Neal's house. The best years of my life was there being around all of my cousins, and Mom's and Dad's families. I hope to visit next summer, I haven't been there since the Neal reunion, 20 years ago. I love Jamestown,Tn.

I love this part of Tennessee! It's beautiful. I have family here, and my roots are here. I love to visit the family and the area. The people are what make it great, you couldn't ask for more welcoming people that the ones around this area! Of course, the mountains and scenery are also great! Thanks
